  Extremely studious and close congregation. Evangelist Wayne Fussell and numerous other teachers who are very serious about teaching the truth of the Scriptures as taught by Jesus and the apostles and followers of the early church. Worship services are held at 10:30 AM, Central Time, on Lord's Day and at 2:00 PM studies with entire congregation after we share lunch and fellowship between services. Many other studies and meetings. Wonderful communication among members and prayer for each other and others who need it during the week. Evangelist Marcus Mathis joining the congregation by August, 2021, along with his wife, Ashley, and son. He will concentrate on working with the congregation with improving Personal Studies and reaching out to members of the local area, some Gospel Meetings, and in general not only preaching the Gospel, but teaching the truth of the Gospel to all, enlightening all who will listen how the Scriptures teach one to be added to the Lord's church and how to well teach others. The church family at Midway is a very close and loving one, where the church the members strive to study hard daily to always better understand what we are to know and do. We strive to WORSHIP GOD ALWAYS, and give constant thanks to our Blessed Saviour Jesus and to listen to the Holy Spirit who indwells us as a helper Jesus left with us to help GUIDE US as we need it as we proceed through our lives. We support other congregations in the brotherhood as they need it. We help support "LET THE BIBLE SPEAK" which airs on Sunday mornings at 7:00AM, with the primary speaker being Evangelist Brett Hickey and hear wonderful making of music in our hearts and with the understanding of our minds, not only at worship services, but on the TV Program on Sunday AMs. We are working to support congregations in other countries, particularly in the Central and South American countries, but in areas all over the world. We are not bragging about the work we are attempting to complete, but are trying to spread the word of what is being done so that you can know and come and JOIN US IN THIS WONDERFUL WORK. THE MOST WONDERFUL THING WE CAN DO FOR OUR EARTHLY FAMILIES, OUR NEIGHBORS, PEOPLE WE MEET AND COME TO MEET ALL OVER THE WORLD IS TO TEACH THEM WHAT THE PRECIOUS GOSPEL--WHAT THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST TEACHES TO EACH OF US: STUDY THE WORD, LEARN IT, BELIEVE IT, CONFESS THAT YOU DO BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD, REPENT, OR TURN AWAY FROM YOUR SINS AND STRIVE NEVER TO COMMITT THOSE SINS AGAIN WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND BE BURIED WITH JESUS IN BAPTISM, BECOMING A CHRISTIAN JUST AS WE ARE TAUGHT TO DO IN THE SCRIPTURES. CONTINUE IN THAT RACE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, TRYING TO DO GOOD AS BEST YOU CAN THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. ALL OF US ARE SINNERS, AND IF WE DENY THAT, WE CALL JESUS A LIAR. BUT GOD IS READY AND WILLING TO FORGIVE US IF WE ASK HIM AND DO OUR BEST TO FOLLOW HIM AND MAKE HIM THE KING OF OUR LIVES [NOT SATAN], TRYING ALWAYS TO DO THE BEST WE CAN. KNWING THAT JESUS IS PLEADING WITH GOD ON OUR BEHALVES TO FORGIVE US. HE DIED FOR US ON THE CROSS AS A PROPITIATION FOR OUR SINS. IN OTHER WORDS, BECUASE HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO HAD NO SIN IN HIS LIFE, HE WAS THE ONLY ONE ABLE TO KEEP THE LAW OF GOD PERFECTLY, AND THUS THE ONLY ONE SINLESS AND THUS ABLE TO QUALIFY AS THE SACRIFICE TO DIE FOR US, WILLINGLY, BECAUSE HE LOVED US SO MUCH AS DID GOD, TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE GRACE THAT GOD SHOWED US IN ALLOWING THAT SACRIFICE FREELY GIVEN BY JESUS TO GRANT US THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE THE CHANCE TO HAVE OUR SINS FORGIVEN AND TO LIVE ETERNALLY WITH GOD, JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT IN HEAVEN. JESUS TOLD US THAT HIS BURDEN WAS LIGHT, BUT WE ALSO KNOW THAT IT IS A FAITH THAT REQUIRES US TO DO WHAT WE ARE TOLD TO DO AND TO DO THAT FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES, NEVER GIVING UP THE RACE AS LONG AS WE LIVE. IT IS SUCH A WONDERFUL AND HAPPY LIFE, AND THE CHRISTIAN LIFE AT MIDWAY CHURCH OF CHRIST ALONG WITH QUEENSBOROUGH CHURCH OF CHRIST WITH WHOM WE HAVE CLOSE FELLOWSHIP, AND HAVE PLANS TO EVER INCREASE THAT PRECIOUS LOVE AND FELLOWSHIP WITH THEM. PLEASE COME AND JOIN US AND ENJOY THE FELLOWSHIP THAT WE ENJOY HERE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, OR WORK IN OTHER PLACES IN YOUR LIFE TAKES YOU THERE. PRAISE AND WORSHIP OUR GOD ALWAYS, LOVE AND KEEP YOUR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST ALWAYS. IN ETERNITY YOU WILL BE SO HAPPY THAT YOU HAVE DONE SO.
